A Car Crash Kills Two Students in Limpopo

In an automobile accident on Monday morning, two students from Mokopane’s Potgietersrus Primary School perished.

According to the Limpopo Department of Education, the collision on the N11 close to Sekgakgapeng Bridge also injured a number of other students.

Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya, the MEC for Education in Limpopo, has expressed her sympathies to the families of the deceased.

“May the departed souls rest in peace, and my prayers go out to the bereaved families. No parent should ever have to go through the anguish of losing a child. I hope every student who has been hurt gets well soon.

The bus catastrophe that claimed the lives of forty-five Botswana people occurred days before Presidents Mokgweetsi Masisi and Cyril Ramaphosa paid a visit to the accident scene on R518 Mmamatlakala road in Mokopane.

They were traveling to St. Engenas Zion Cristian Church (ZCC) for an Easter pilgrimage to Moria when they passed away.

Only the eight-year-old daughter survived the collision.
