A Woman is Scheduled to Appear in Court Over the Joslin Smith Case

Today, a 32-year-old lady is scheduled to appear in the Vredenburg Magistrate’s court over the six-year-old Joslin Smith’s disappearance from Saldanha Bay.

The weekend saw the woman’s arrest. The little child is still being sought after.

Nearly a month has passed since the Grade 1 student vanished from her home in the Middelpos informal settlement.

Three defendants, including the mother of the kid, appeared in court last week. Steveno van Rhyn, Kelly Smith, and Jacquen Appollis all failed to post bond and are being held pending their next court date.

More people were detained for interrogation as part of the inquiry, according to police yesterday.
