After Nearly a Decade, DJ Sbu is Back on the Radio With a New Breakfast Show on Radio 2000

Veteran radio host DJ Sbu, real name Sibusiso Leope, expressed his desire to return to the SABC on his YouTube channel a year ago, and now a chance has arisen.

The radio icon Lewis Mpotseng Tshinaba will be replaced by the media celebrity, philanthropist, and businessman as the host of Radio 2000’s new breakfast program.

DJ Sbu has returned to radio after nearly ten years away. He joins the current cast of Radio 2000’s new breakfast show, which includes Lelo Mzaca as the sports anchor and Nathi Ndamase as co-presenter.

Thembisa-born celebrity stated on his podcast last year, “I’ll gladly take it on if an opportunity to represent my country presents itself.”

“And I will absolutely return to SABC and serve my country for the right commercial deal.”
