An Ex-Kaizer Chiefs Trickster Set to Sign with a Rival PSL Team

A former winger for Kaizer Chiefs has made a comeback with Chippa United, a team in the DStv Premiership. After clearing the club’s trial, Kamohelo Mahlatsi is allegedly ready to join with the struggling top flight team.

The Glamour Boys fired the 25-year-old dribbling wizard in September 2023, and he hasn’t had a job since. Mahlatsi had just one season with Kaizer Chiefs, appearing in just seven games.

Former Kaizer Chief Set to Join Rival PSL Team

According to an IdiskiTimes story, “Kamohelo Mahlatsi, the attacking midfielder from Kaizer Chiefs, is nearing the signing process with Chippa United.”

This publication is aware that his contract termination with the Chilli Boyz is imminent. Mahlatsi will be rejoining former coach Kwanele Kopo and Thabo September, who were appointed by the team during the Africa Cup of Nations break, if he signs with Chippa.

The son of Pitso Mosimane was observed participating in the Gauteng Development League matches for the Kaizer Chiefs Under-13 team.

Against Kathorus Hyper Academy on Saturday morning, Reatlegile Mosimane gave an outstanding performance for the Amakhosi juniors, scoring once and dishing out two assists.

Chiefs Development secured their spot in the semi-finals by defeating their opponents 4-0 on the day. Reatlegile gave his team the lead with a cool-headed penalty kick. View his penalty goal in the section below.
