Jub Jub was back in court recently to continue his assault case. The musician and TV personality is being prosecuted on several counts of assault that date back to 2006.

Postponement of Jub Jub’s Assault Case

Another delay has been imposed on the Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye case. The rapper turned himself in in 2023 after an arrest warrant for attempted murder, assault, and kidnapping was served. The newspaper also stated that the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) had been given custody of the case.

The rapper is out on bond, but one of his requirements is that he not speak to or make contact with the people who he claims to be his victims. The most recent delay, according to SABC News, relates to Jub Jub’s request for modifications to his bail terms.

The following scheduled court date is Thursday, April 25, 2024.
