Where did the Cupcake Nickname Originate?

President Cyril Ramaphosa is frequently referred to as “Cupcake” on social media. However, whence did the moniker originate?

The president allegedly received the term of endearment in 2017, according to messages purportedly provided to him by various women amid claims he was having affairs and providing funding for multiple young ladies, according to IOL. Ramaphosa, who was then vying for president, is reportedly said to have called one of the ladies “cupcake” in a leaked email.

In a face-to-face interview with the Sunday Times, Ramaphosa acknowledged being involved in an extramarital affair with a Limpopo woman.

“I had a relationship with only one person, and it ended,” the man declared. I handled it with my spouse. We are currently in a professional partnership.

Who Are the Children and Wife of the President?

Tshepo Motsepe, Cyril Ramaphosa’s third wife, is his wife. Tshepo is a physician and the sister of Patrice Motsepe, a multibillionaire businessman.

Together, the couple has three children: daughters Keneilwe, an architect, and Mashudu, a law student; son Tumelo, a businessman as well as an enthusiastic gym goer.

The President is also the parent of two more children from prior marriages: Tulisa, a girl whose mother was Cyril’s second wife, Nomazizi Mtshotshisana, who passed away in 2008, and Ramaphosa, a firstborn son from him first marriage to Hope.
