In DJ Maphorisa’s studio, Nigerian artist Davido records a collaboration.
In addition to confirming that a partnership is in the works, the South African producer gave a quick overview of their ten-year friendship. DJ Maphorisa posted the photo, saying, “We come along way @davido like 10years ❤️🙏🏿 can’t wait for them to hear our music.”
Phori is a gifted musician who has contributed to the expansion of music beyond Mzansi. He is without a doubt one of the strong pillars of the South African music business.
Having collaborated with artists like Burna Boy and Wizkid, the DJ is hoping that this new collaboration will be a hit.
As he expressed gratitude to Maphorisa in the comment, Young Stunna made a suggestion that he would be featured on the collabo.
“I won’t lie, it means a lot to me that you trusted me, uncle Lam,” Stunna wrote.
A few fans, however, made light of the post by recalling DJ Maphorisa’s assertion that he is the owner of the masters to any song recorded in his studio.
