Five People Die in a Crash Near Belfast.

Crash

On Saturday night, two automobiles collided head-on on the N4 in Wonderfontein, close to Belfast, killing five people.

While the fifth victim passed away from his wounds in the hospital, the other four were pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash is unknown, according to Moeti Mmusi, spokeswoman for Mpumalanga’s Community Safety, Security, and Liaison department.

“Three individuals suffered from severe injuries. It’s possible that one of the drivers lost control of the car, swerved off the road, and collided with the car approaching from the other direction. The inquiry has already started.

Drivers should use caution when driving, according to Busisiwe Shiba, Acting MEC for Community Safety, Security, and Liaison.

“It is essential and non-negotiable for every driver on our roads to follow the rules. To make our roadways safer, we all have a part to play,” Shiba remarked.
