The lawmaker disclosed that the woman was slain on Twitter on Monday night.
“Today I’m hurting. I’m hurt, they killed my daughter,” he wrote.
Social media users showered him and his family with condolence messages on his timeline.
The ANC Gen-Sec, however, took to Twitter once more to clarify that the woman is his office daughter and not his biological daughter.
He tweeted, “This is my daughter working in my office.”
