Four People are Questioned By Police Regarding Joslin Smith Who is Missing at Age Six

The police are interviewing four people in connection with the missing case of Joslin Smith

The detectives are interviewing four people, two men and two women between the ages of 26 and 34, according to police spokesperson Brigadier Novela Potelwa.

“As part of a comprehensive investigation into the disappearance of six-year-old Joslin Smith from Diazville in Saldanha Bay on the West Coast, Western Cape detectives are currently questioning four individuals.”

There is a Growing Momentum in the Investigation, and Arrests are Imminent

Potelwa stated that arrests are anticipated as the probe picks up steam.

“During the course of the investigation, the detective team visited various locations in the town on the West Coast and spoke with multiple people.”

“In the hunt for Joslin, people, non-governmental organizations, neighborhood watch coordinators, police officers, and representatives from several government departments came together to discover the missing girl. They scoured and located large regions in Saldanha Bay for days.

“It is anticipated that more information about her whereabouts and what happened to her will come to light as the investigation progresses,” stated Brigadier Novela Potelwa.

Over the Weekend, Bloodied Clothing was Discovered

“Later on Saturday night, during random searches on an open field, clothing fragments purportedly stained with blood were found,” said Lt. Col. Malcolm Pojie.

Lt.Col. Malcolm Pojie, a spokesman for the police, stated on Sunday that the forensic lab’s findings about the purportedly bloodstained clothes fragments are still pending.

He stated that as part of the ongoing probe, the investigation team arrived at the location where the articles of clothes were taken.

Hundreds of People Continue to Look for Joslin

“Our forensic laboratory has received the clothing for analysis.”

More than 700 people, including police and locals, are reportedly still in the area and actively looking.

Search and rescue dogs as well as drone operators have been sent to the region.

  • Kelly, Joslin’s mother, was questioned over claims that drugs were used at the family residence. Kelly acknowledged smoking tik with her partner, but claimed to have been “clean for a week since Joslin’s disappearance.”
