Five people can fit in MW’s all-electric 2024 i5 sedan, which also has room for two car seats. Installing a rear-facing car seat behind taller front passengers will require additional legroom, but easy-access lower anchors made the process simple. Customers should be aware that the middle position is useless for anything longer than extremely brief trips due to a substantial floor bump.

Grade A latch
The flip-up covers make it simple to locate and operate the two sets of lower anchors. On the back shelf are three huge, clearly indicated top tether anchors.
Baby Chair: Class B
Installing this seat was simple. To make room for it, we raised the front passenger seat a little. The front passenger, who is 5 feet 6 inches tall, has adequate legroom, but taller passengers will require more to be comfortable.
Grade B Rear-Facing Convertible
Similar to the infant seat, the convertible’s rear-facing mode was simple to install and had an identical effect on the legroom of the front passenger.
Grade A Forward-Facing Convertible
It fit perfectly after the head restraint was taken off to place the forward-facing convertible flush against the seatback. Both the top tether anchor and the lower anchors were easy for us to connect to.
Upgraded Seat: Class B
To achieve a good fit, we took off the head restraint once again. Because the buckles of the i5 are short and flush with the seat bottom cushion, it may be difficult for young children to grab and operate them on their own.
