September 2019 saw Happy Island open its doors—or rather, its slides! With a variety of water-themed attractions, slides, and activities, it has already earned the rightful claim of being the largest water amusement park in South Africa.
Happy Island, which lies in the Gauteng region to the north of Johannesburg, is like stepping into a another planet; you quickly forget that you are only a short distance from the busy metropolis of Jozi.
With specially created attractions and park spaces for younger children and some exhilarating thrill slides for older children, Happy Island, which is spread across 4 sizable properties, is suitable for families of all ages.
Happy Island Entrance Fee, Offers & Bundles
The admission prices to Happy Island are all-inclusive. They provide both a pay at the gate and an online payment option, which we strongly advise using given the length of the lines at the entrance.
With the card-less system used by the park stores and kiosks, all you have to do is load your arm band with Rands and scan it at the several stores, kiosks, and vendors. For band top-ups, there are two ATMs in the park itself. Life jackets, tubes, parking, and access to all park rides and amenities are included with your ticket.

R150 for children under 1.3 meters; FREE for children under 2 years old; R150 for those with disabilities (wheelchair accessible), and R250 for Adults
