The murder of a 58-year-old family man from Leribe Village in QwaQwa, who was suspected of killing his wife’s family members, has led to the arrest of four suspects.
The man allegedly killed his wife’s aunt and sister-in-law, injured a 94-year-old grandmother, and was attacked by members of the community.
W/O Mmako Mophiring, a police spokeswoman, stated that the family shootings occurred on March 2; the reason for the incidents is unknown.
Later, the culprit was apprehended, and a mob is said to have slain him.
“Members of the community attacked him, killing him. His gun vanished and hasn’t been found yet; it’s thought to have been used in the crimes, according to Mophiring.
According to Mophiring, on March 4, Tseki police, acting on information from the local community, located and apprehended four individuals at Leribe Village.
On Wednesday, the four suspects are scheduled to appear in court before the Tseki magistrate’s office to answer to charges of murder.
