In Ivory Park, Gauteng, mob justice goes awry when locals beat an innocent man to death.

The family claims that on March 24, 2024, while attending a party in Phase, Albert Sithole, who has since passed away, made the decision to go see his sister, who lives nearby. Because he was drunk, Albert is said to have entered the incorrect yard. He woke up the owner of the yard by yelling out his sister’s name.

The proprietor emerged and began whistling, believing Albert to be a robber.

The victim was beaten to death by the locals, who then abandoned him at a nearby river in large numbers.

After being dispatched to the area, the aquatic rescue team discovered Albert’s lifeless body in the river.

The deceased was reportedly a well-known vendor in Lindokuhke Phase Two and its environs, including Ivory Park 2, where he peddled toilet paper and steel wool.

So yet, there have been no arrests made.
