The attackers responsible for the double homicide of a passenger and a taxi driver in Ladysmith are being sought after.
On Saturday night, the man and lady were shot on the N11, close to the offices of the Road Traffic Inspectorate.
The incident is thought to be connected to nearby taxi-related violence.
“A murder case is being investigated by Ladysmith police,” province police spokesperson Thenjiswa Ngcobo stated.
“When their car was shot at, a 43-year-old guy and a 69-year-old passenger were inside. At the site, those occupants were pronounced deceased.
