In Zebediela, Limpopo, there was a suspected taxi-related shooting that resulted in the deaths of four persons.

The incident happened early on Wednesday.

Reports state that a passenger, bystander, and two taxi drivers are among the victims.

Florence Radzilani, Minister of Transportation and Community Safety, has denounced the event.

“The shooting undermines efforts to establish a safe and dependable public transportation system for the public, made by both the government and the taxi industry,” the statement read.

The incident was called a “pure act of crime” by the MEC.
