Born in 1991, Kamohelo Bombe is a well-known television personality and chicken farmer in South Africa. Her most well-known role was as a television presenter for Soweto TV, SABC, and Moja Love. She also presents the agriculture program Living Land on SABC 2.
Kamohelo Bombe Biography
The colorful farmer looked for a job as a presenter for years before getting one. She hopes to educate and motivate young people to get their hands dirty by working the soil through the agricultural program Living Soil.
In Moletjie, close to Polokwane, Limpopo, Kamohelo Bombe was born in 1991. She was raised in Soweto’s Diepkloof and became very interested in farming. Kamo, the oldest of four children, was impacted by her family’s agricultural knowledge.
Her grandma was employed by ZZ2, the largest tomato manufacturer in the southern hemisphere. Her mother, aunt, and grandmother planted tomatoes in their vegetable garden at home. These veggies were sold door to door. When she was in third grade, her family relocated to Soweto.
She started her investigation after learning that obtaining land in Soweto was a task. The rural development department in Bronkhorstspruit, east of Tshwane, gave her land. She therefore added veggies to her hens’ diet to diversify her farming.
Following her graduation, she worked odd jobs to help her family after her father passed away.
Kamohelo Bombe Training
She began her tenure on YoTV for a year before joining Soweto TV’s Sisters as a stand-in presenter. There, she received training as a studio director and producer. She also attended Urban Brew Studios to receive training in studio directing and autocue operation.
Kamohelo Bombe Career
In 2009, Bombe began hosting shows on the community channel Soweto TV. The Sizzling Breakfast Show, a children’s program, was presented by her. Later on, she filled in as a stand-in for Sisters. Her major break came on the young talk show Shift, where she worked for YOTV.
Since participating in Traditional Wedding, Moja Love’s wedding series. Since 2015, she has been a professional farmer. Prior to farming, she began her career in television. She was the host of Living Land, a well-liked educational television program. On May 1, 2021, SABC2 broadcast it again.
Bombe has played a part in disseminating positive agricultural news. Kamohelo Bombe organizes workshops, particularly for females. She started her career as a qualified broiler by purchasing her chicks at Zuurberkom, west of Soweto. She began with 2,500 birds in 2015.
After initiating an Agri-Parks project in Eikenhof, Kamo became a member of the previous Johannesburg Mayor Parks Tau. A hectare of land was offered to her for usage. She requested a farm in writing to a department of rural development. She is looking for a 10-year lease on her 21-hectare property.
Bombe was a producer for Big Brother Nigeria and SABC sports programming. She has found herself in hot water after accusing a businessman in Johannesburg of defrauding her in their mobile kitchen arrangement.
Kamohelo Bombe Personal Life
Bombe Kamohelo is not dating. She shed 13 kg of weight and is in fantastic shape. Considering that she was well-paid and could afford to eat whatever. And alcohol made me put on weight. She went from a size 32 to a size 40.
Five native languages—Pedi, Sotho, English, Tsonga, Venda, and Zulu—are spoken by Bombe.
