Loadshedding has Been Put on Hold by Eskom Indefinitely

Eskom has put an end to load shedding indefinitely.
The second stage of load shedding will end at 16:00 today.

According to Eskom spokesperson Daphne Mokwena, the power company has been able to delay the scheduled deployment of load shedding due to improved producing capacity.

“Tonight’s nighttime peak demand is 27 728MW. There are now 5 066 MW of planned maintenance and 13 840 MW of unplanned unavailability, the spokesperson stated.

Mokwena said that if there are any major changes, a further update will be given on Wednesday.
