Locals Made Calls to Help Locate the Missing Shandrifa Louw

Shandrifa Louw, a 17-year-old who vanished in the Prieska area of the Northern Cape over three weeks ago, is still unaccounted for. The teenager went out with friends and did not come home, so the police have asked the locals for help.

The girl’s parents claim to have last seen her on February 28.

“The Prieska police can confirm that there is no breakthrough yet, in finding missing Shandrifa,” said police spokesperson Timothy Sam. In an effort to find her, police, community organizations, and a police K9 search and rescue team, together with diving teams, have scoured the region surrounding her disappearance and moved along the Orange River. The police are still looking into this.
