Mashatile is Prepared to Testify Before the Ethics Committee:  Mbalula

Paul Mashatile, the deputy president of the African National Congress (ANC), is prepared to testify before the ethics committee of parliament, according to Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula of the party.

Following the Good Friday service at the Grace Bible Church in Soweto, Mbalula was addressing the media.

“Those with a criminal record or who are connected to illegal activity are removed from our registry. That’s the ANC’s rebirth that we are genuinely discussing. We practice what we preach. That concludes the idle chat and moves on.

Paul Mashatile, the deputy president, has already responded to that query in the National Assembly and is prepared to respond. even from the District Attorney to respond to legitimate charges and other matters. And it is the location of the procedure.

Mashatile has been accused of corruption by the Democratic Alliance; he has less than a week to respond.

Mashatile informed the National Assembly on Thursday that he had been given a week to react by the Parliament’s Ethics Committee.

Nonetheless, he asserts that he is unconcerned by the accusations of corruption made against him.
