Njabulo a 17 Year Old Boy Hasn’t Been Found in Two Weeks

The last time Phindiwe Yose saw her 17-year-old son Njabulo Yose, who vanished after school, it has been two weeks and counting. Njabulo vanished on March 13. About nine o’clock at night, while traveling to Kgosi Mampuru, he was last seen with three pals.

Earlier this week, we discovered his novels. Someone told me they found his books on the street, so I went to the police station to find out more,” she added.

One More Dead End

Yose claimed that although they spoke with the woman who discovered the books, nothing changed. She remarked, “It’s just another dead end.” She claimed to have discovered the books on March 14 in a Pretoria street. That street where she discovered the bag is unknown to me.

The distraught mother claimed that since her son didn’t own a phone, she was unable to contact him and was now afraid of the worst. Yose learned last week that her son had been spotted near Kgosi Mampuru in a hazardous area.

Even the police are afraid to go there since it’s not safe. Perhaps he got lost there and is too afraid to go. They recently tested him, therefore he is not into drugs,” she had originally stated. He got into a quarrel at school the day her son vanished.

“It Seems Like the Police are Not Giving it Much Thought.”

Pearl Ramashala, a family friend, has been assisting Yose in her search for her son. “We have been conducting our own investigations since day two due to the police’s lack of urgency,” the woman stated. They don’t seem to be taking it seriously.

“We go there and look for him when we get information from people,” she remarked.

They have requested assistance from the public in their search for Njabulo. The mother even made a trip to the nearby hospital in search of her son. We have to follow in his footsteps.

“The parents don’t want to talk, and we don’t know those boys he went with,” she remarked.

It’s not nice what the mother is going through right now. I tried to imagine myself as her mother.

It’s not the point that you can’t control teenagers all the time. Njabulo needs to be located, dead or alive, as it has been two weeks, she declared.

Over the Weekend, the Search Continues.

According to Ramashala, this weekend the community will assist Yose in his search for the missing teen.

“The situation is dire,” she declared.
