On Tuesday night, Bheki Cele Will Brief the Media on the Assassination of Rapper AKA

According to well-placed sources, the minister will give an update on the rap musician AKA's murder.

Bheki Cele, the minister of police, is currently traveling to Durban to inform the media of a significant development in a well-known case. Although the minister’s announcement has not been made public by the police, well-placed sources have suggested that the minister would deliver an update on the murder of rapper AKA.

The media was recently informed by KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi that the investigations into the killings of Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and his companion Tebello “Tibs” Motsoane, a chef and author, were still in a delicate stage.

The authorities do not wish to share any information that could jeopardize their sensitive investigation into that specific case (AKA). The murder case involving “AKA” and “Tibs” is complicated.

According to TimesMedia Live, he stated, “This is a prosecution-led investigation and an announcement into the investigation and the progress will be communicated when the police have tied all the loose ends and covered all the loopholes.”

In February of last year, AKA and Motsoane were shot and killed outside a well-known Florida Road eatery. The announcement made by Minister Cele will be covered live by The Witness.
