Police Continue to Search for Joshlin Smith With a Dog Unit.

Arrests are imminent over the disappearance of Joslin Smith from Saldanha Bay.

Following concerns from the local community of a suspicious smell coming from surrounding bushes, Western Cape police have deployed their dog unit to continue the hunt for Joshlin Smith, who is missing, in Saldanha Bay.

Joshlin has been gone for more than two months, and officials are still dedicated to locating her in spite of massive efforts, including inquiries that went all the way to the UK.

Western Cape Police Commissioner Tembisile Patekile reportedly told EWN that despite the difficulties in sorting through a variety of material without producing meaningful findings, police are diligently following all leads submitted by the public.

Kelly Smith, Joshlin’s mother, her boyfriend, and two other suspects are presently being held at Pollsmoor Prison pending trial in relation to the disappearance.

Concerns have been raised over the circumstances surrounding Joshlin’s disappearance, as reports of drug use and claims of offers to sell the youngster for muthi have been made.

According to The Citizen, Kelly Smith’s former employer David Louw, who lives in Saldanha Bay, noticed notable behavioral changes in Kelly that were associated with her drug usage and may have been related to methamphetamine psychosis.

Jose Emke, Joslin’s biological father who lives in Springbok, believes Kelly and her boyfriend’s drug-related debt may have contributed to Kelly’s abduction.

For law enforcement, finding Joshlin Smith continues to be their top priority.
