Celebrity physician Nandipha Magudumana was allegedly beaten in the Kroonstad Correctional Centre in the Free State by two prisoners. Two prisoners are accused of assaulting Nandipha Magudumana, the disgraced celebrity doctor.
According to reports, the event took place on Monday morning at Magudumana’s detention facility, the Kroonstad Correctional Centre.
Dr. Nandipha Magudumana Assaulted by Inmates in Prison
Advocate Mochini Motloung, Magudumana’s attorney, verified the occurrence in an interview with eNCA. Motloung claimed that he learned of Magudumana’s attack on Monday morning from other prisoners. It appears that one of the other prisoners is mentally ill, and the other is a sangoma.
“My customer called to let me know about the situation. To no result, I attempted to follow up with the prison director,” Motloung said.
The attorney added that Nandipha Magudumana had been the target of violent threats for a while. Nothing was done despite the famous doctor informing the appropriate authorities of this.

Magudmana passed out in the holding cells of the Parkroad Police Station a few days after her bail application was turned down. According to her attorney Motloung, she was taken from the Parkroad Police Station to the holding cells of the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court.
According to Motloung, accused people get sick whether they are in detention or out on bond.

Dr. Nandipha Magudumana’s Brother Admits to receiving Bribe
Nkosinathi Sekeleni, the brother of Magudumana, revealed that he received R30,000 in exchange for revealing details about the much awaited Tracking Thabo Bester documentary series on Showmax.
Tracking Thabo Bester is a four-part investigation that looks into the reasons behind Thabo Bester’s initial jail sentence and nickname as the Facebook rapist. It also looks at who actually perished in Cell 35 and how Nandipha Magudumana fell in love with a convicted felon, leaving her kids behind to flee to Tanzania with him.
Therefore, it is evident from the agreement’s fourth clause that I received R30,000. In his affidavit, Sekeleni stated, “This sum was in exchange for the exclusive rights I granted Idea Candy to conduct, record, and broadcast the documentary, not for commercial gain or any manner.”
