Python Amazingly Evades a Gang of Mongooses’ Attack.

After being attacked by almost fifteen mongooses, the python managed to get away.

The natural world is quite amazing!

There is no question which would win in a head-to-head match between a massive python and a single, tiny mongoose, yet the chances seem to change slightly when a python faces more than fifteen mongooses.

A python was attacked by a group of mongooses, but it somehow escaped in a recent video posted on Latest Sightings.

Any animal would give up at the fierce noise the pack produces during the fight, but the python keeps trying despite the mongooses’ repeated attacks.

In the footage, the mongooses gnaw and scratch at the python’s skin as it fights for its life.

In the end, the massive snake—which is probably two meters long—manages to narrowly escape by scaling a nearby tree.

Narrated by two men, the horrifying incident.

The men’s realization that one of the mongooses “called off” the attack when it saw the snake making its getaway is perhaps the most startling scene in the video.

“Leave, said somebody [one of the mongooses]. Take a look at that. One of the men said, “Someone said go.”

An internet site called Latest Sightings shares the greatest sightings of wildlife from the Kruger National Park and occasionally from other parts of the world.

It may surprise you to learn that the plural form of mongoose is mongooses rather than mongeese.

Are you aware of the mongoose collective noun?
