Songezo Zibi, the national leader of RISE Mzansi, promised on Sunday to eradicate corruption and provide transparent governance should he be elected.

Zibi spoke to tens of thousands of party members at Roodepoort during the last rally before the elections on May 29.

Over 3,000 volunteers, organizers, political officials, and representatives of the general public attended the demonstration.

The goal of RISE Mzansi is to secure representation in nine provincial legislatures and the Parliament.

Zibi assured supporters that if South Africans gave the party a chance in the polls, he was sure they could make it to Parliament.

He stated that ensuring transparent government and responsible, cooperative leadership is the party’s top objective.

“We will put in endless effort when we get to Parliament to make sure that the government is held responsible for every dollar that you allow them to spend.

“In South Africa, we must tolerate no corruption at all, and we must start at the top with those who conceal thousands of dollars in their cushions and then claim to be able to combat corruption. We’re keeping an eye on them,” Zibi stated.

He thinks his party can boost the economy and generate employment throughout the nation.

“RISE Mzansi has a practical and realistic plan to revive our economy and give millions of people jobs. In order to accomplish this, we will first raise R300 billion in three years via a wealth tax and establish a National Growth Fund, which will both fix our broken infrastructure and generate employment.

We all know that South Africa needs a New Deal, and this is exactly that. Everyone would come on board, we are sure, with the correct political leadership,” Zibi promised.

He claimed that his party has also developed a strategy to guarantee that youth can find employment through skill development.

“We have a realistic and feasible plan to train tens of thousands of youth to obtain jobs paying a living wage while we invest in regional and local infrastructure and install solar panels on every South African home’s roof.”

Axolile Notywala, the party’s Western Cape Premier Candidate, stated that his goal is to eliminate divisions in the region.

He remarked that the people of the Western Cape were let down by the Democratic Alliance.

“We intend to heal the divisions by putting an end to the remnants of apparent partial apartheid. We wish to assist those who have been disregarded by the Western Cape, which is led by the DA.

Notywala declared, “We will make sure that all communities have access to the basic amenities and respectable services like water, electricity, and garbage collection.”

Vuyiswa Ramokgopa, the party’s nominee for Gauteng Premier, claimed the party will instill hope in the region.

“When Gauteng is rich, South Africa is prosperous, thus we want the province to work for all of its citizens, not just those who live in specific suburbs. We are sick of indolent politicians who only care about appearing busy, never making an effort to better the material circumstances of this province’s citizens,” declared Ramokgopa.

After signing a promise to be open, responsible, fearless, busy, cooperative, consultative, and clean, the party called the rally to a close.
