The Suspect’s Sister in the Senzo Meyiwa Case has died

It was announced on Wednesday morning that the sister of the third accused in the murder trial of Senzo Meyiwa had died from rat poisoning. It is stated that she passed away at the age of 27.

The article claims that Sinqobile, Mthokozisi Maphisa’s other sister, has refuted claims that Nqobile was poisoned in order to quiet her.

“We don’t know all that led her to choose to end her life and the life of her unborn child. Nqobile’s pregnancy lasted seven months. She seems content that she would soon become a mother. We are aware that this is unrelated to either Senzo Meyiwa’s case or our brother’s,” Sinqobile was cited as adding.

According to reports, Sinqobile has acknowledged that she is still having difficulty accepting her sister’s passing. According to reports, Sinqobile said, “I never expected this from her, so the pain hits straight to my heart.”

There were reportedly plans in place to transport Nqobile’s body from Johannesburg back to KwaZulu-Natal. The specifics of Nqobile’s funeral are yet unknown.
