A South African policeman was detained after it was claimed that he fatally stabbed his pregnant girlfriend.
A police officer from South Africa has been placed under arrest for reportedly stabbing his pregnant girlfriend to death in Durban. Early on Sunday, March 31, 2024, the victim – a police officer as well – was attacked by the 27-year-old suspect inside an apartment on Joseph Nduli Street.
The police released a statement in which they stated that the man reportedly sexually assaulted the woman to death while they were both drinking.
Additionally, it has been stated that the suspect recorded and photographed the victim as she expired. It is reported that he shared the footage on social media and sent it to other individuals.
It is anticipated that the suspect will appear in court on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
