The Border Management Authority (BMA) States That Border Operations Are Running Smoothly.

According to the Border Management Authority (BMA), no issues have been reported by its employees regarding the processing of individuals entering and departing South Africa.

It claims to have finished the first part of its activities for Easter weekend. The BMA officials are usually extremely busy over the Easter vacations.

This is the case while thousands of people move throughout the nation and between provinces.

“I can confirm that about 71 000 people had been exited from Lebombo Port of entry into Mozambique since Tuesday up until yesterday,” said BMA Commissioner Michael Masiapato.

The second is the Beitbridge Border Post, where we processed some 67 000 individuals who were leaving the country and entering the continent through Zimbabwe. With more than 101 000 individuals who we have helped leave the nation, OR Tambo remains the leader in air travel.
