The Forbes Family Calls the Book About Aka and Anele “Opportunistic” and “Insensitive.”

When Love Kills: The Tragic Story of AKA and Anele, a new book by Melinda Ferguson, has drawn criticism from the parents of the late rapper “AKA.”

Melinda Ferguson’s most recent book, “When Love Kills: The Tragic Tale of AKA and Anele,” has drawn criticism from the parents of late musician Kieran “AKA” Forbes, who described it as “distasteful and opportunistic.”

Forbes Family Criticises Book on AKA

AKA and Anele reportedly had a tense relationship, as seen by excerpts from the book that were released on Monday. It is said that the night before Anele passed away, just one month after AKA paid lobola for Anele, she tossed her engagement ring at him.

IOL claims that the book also had details showing Anele had voiced unease about DJ Zinhle, the mother of AKA’s daughter Kairo. It is said that the pair had a disagreement about her the night before Anele died.

Anele’s father, Moses Tembe, is quoted in the book as acknowledging that his daughter had told him about the late rapper’s alleged cruelty. He admits, nonetheless, that he refrained from interfering.

Tony and Lynn Forbes, AKA’s parents, made it clear in a statement to the media on Monday that they are unrelated to the book and disagree with its ideas.

“We politely and appropriately declined to contribute to Melinda’s book when she reached out to us,” the Forbes said.

We are not aware of the contents of the book at this time, thus we are unable to comment further. However, we think the timing and the planned publication of the book are opportunistic and disgusting.

Ferguson said, “I wrote this book in an effort to try and understand a story about two people who fell down a toxic love rabbit hole.”

“Something was pushing me to continue looking for the truth about what had transpired. and the reason they were both dead now.

The “Toxic” Relationship Between Anele and Aka is Revealed by Moses Tembe.

Moses Tembe regrets not intervening more in Kiernan “AKA” Forbes’s “harmful” connection with his daughter Anele.

The Durban businessman regrets not acting more after learning, the night before his daughter’s funeral, that there was a 99% likelihood Anele did not commit herself.

The book claims that Tembe disclosed that Anele broke up with the well-known rapper and even threw her engagement ring at him.

Tembe said that the night before she passed away, the couple got into a vicious physical fight, according to News24.

He saw that Anele’s nails were damaged and that AKA had scratches on his back.

An eyewitness testimony of hearing cries emanating from the couple’s room the night before Anele died is also included in the book.
