The Only Survivor of the Tragic Bus Accident in Limpopo Flies Out for Botswana.

Bus crash in Limpopo

Phophi Ramathuba, the Limpopo Health MEC, expressed her satisfaction with the 8-year-old’s recovery from the fatal bus accident that occurred over Easter weekend.

The only person alive from the 45-person bus disaster in Limpopo is Atlang Siako.

The bus crashed off a bridge and caught fire near Mokopane on Thursday when it was traveling between Botswana and South Africa.

At the time of the collision, the bus, which was carrying 46 passengers, was traveling to Moria.

On Wednesday morning, Ramathuba addressed the media outside Polokwane Airport.

“I continue to maintain that she is at a stage where we may allow her to return home, as the psychological effects of being away from home aid in her overall and full recovery. Even though she is still in excruciating pain, her condition is satisfactory to us.

Siako is currently returning to her native Botswana.

Health Minister Joe Phaahla pledged on Tuesday that the identified bus crash victims’ post-mortem results would be finished as quickly as possible.
