The Repo Rate is Maintained at 8.25% by the South African Reserve Bank

Rates at the South African Reserve Bank remained at 8.25%.

The CPI for 2024 is 5.1%, down from 5.1% in the past. The 4.6% projection for 2025 remains the same. The core CPI for 2024 is 4.8%, up from the previous reading of 4.6%, while the core CPI for 2025 remains at 4.6%.

The 1.2% GDP growth rate for this year is unchanging.
