Cyril Ramaphosa, the president of the African National Congress, has voiced confidence in the party’s win in KwaZulu-Natal.
Ramaphosa is traveling the nation in advance of the May elections to campaign in various places.
He called the province’s efforts by other political parties to win over voters “nibbles.”
The ANC dominates KZN; all other political parties, including those that just emerged yesterday, are attempting to make inroads, and that is all they will ever be able to accomplish. In KwaZulu-Natal, the African National Congress is in charge, and we are sure that we will win the next general election.
“The MK Party was recently formed, so even here in KZN, people will see what the ANC is all about, because the people of KZN and South Africa love the ANC, and we are going to surprise you and many others who think that the ANC will not have a clear majority,” the speaker stated.
The EFF, IFP, ActionSA, Patriotic Alliance, and National Freedom Party are all running for office in the province at the same time as his visit.
