Update on AKA/Tibz Murder Suspects

For the killings of AKA and Tibz, a total of seven persons have been detained.

In February of last year, the two were shot and killed on Florida Road in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.

• Age: 30
• Identity: South African citizen Mkhwanazi, a Taxi boss in KZN
• Location: Madwaleni Area, Mtubatuba KZN
• Ongoing Charges: Murder of AKA and Tibz, attempted murder of 5 people, conspiracy to commit murder, unlawful possession of firearm and ammunition, and money laundering.

Accused 2

• Name: Lindani Zenzele
• Age: 35
• Identity: South African citizen Mkhwanazi, a Taxi boss in KZN
• Location: Protea Glen Soweto Johannesburg
• Ongoing Charges: Murder of AKA and Tibz, attempted murder of 5 people, conspiracy to commit murder, unlawful possession of firearm and ammunition, and money laundering.

• Name: Siyanda Eddie
• Age: 21
• Identity: SA Citizen Myeza, Unemployed
• Location: Unknown

• Age: 36
• Identity: SA Citizen Gwabeni, Mining boss in KZN, said to be the coordinator and mastermind

• Name: Lindokuhle Mhlaliseni Ndimande
• Age: 29 (born 11 May 1994)
• Identity: SA Citizen Ndimande, He is from Emboyi Nkanyezini, Pietermaritzburg in KwaZulu-Natal.
• Location: At the time of committing the offence, he was residing at Cowles Hill Pinetown, KZN. After committing the offence, he fled to Mbabane Hhohho region at Eswatini.
• Ongoing Charges: Murder of AKA and Tibz, attempted murder of 5 people, conspiracy to commit murder, unlawful possession of firearm and ammunition, and money laundering.

• Name: Malusi Dave Ndimande
• Age: 28 (born 1 May 1995)
• Identity: SA Citizen Ndimande, He is from Kwasimolo Reserve, Hluhluwe in KwaZulu-Natal.
• Location: At the time of committing the offense, he was residing at Capella flats in Durban, KZN. After committing the offence, he fled to Mbabane Hhohho region at Eswatini.
• Ongoing Charges: Murder of AKA and Tibz, attempted murder of 5 people, conspiracy to commit murder, unlawful possession of firearm and ammunition, and money laundering.
