The “Husband Test” has Gone Viral

According to this trend, women are documenting the precise instance in which they refer to their boyfriend as their “husband” in casual conversation, along with their partner’s response. Many people think that if the partner replies positively or grins, it indicates that he is genuinely interested in the relationship. However, it may be a sign that he is not committed to the relationship if he corrects his partner or behaves negatively.

There are other ways to gauge a partner’s loyalty outside the popular practice of testing them. In addition, a lot of people have expressed concern over the act of testing a partner’s commitment or loyalty, saying that couples should talk about this instead of broadcasting it online.

Psychotherapist Marni Feuerman told USA Today, “There could be a lot going on for him that we just don’t know or understand,” in response to this trend and the question of how a man would respond to being called “husband” out of the blue. It’s possible that he has no desire to become a spouse or a married man. Therefore, this would reveal far more about the individual than how committed he is to his current partner.

When Kenzie Greene shared a video of herself purposefully calling her boyfriend her husband to gauge his response, it became known as the “Husband Test” craze. Her partner, however, took offense and retorted, “I’m not your husband.” He also turned off the video right away. In response to this video, a lot of internet users assumed that Kenzie Greene’s boyfriend was uninterested in making a commitment to her. The “Husband Test” craze began when a large number of people began sharing films on TikTok that were similar in nature.
