Building Houses in Different Communities Across the Nation Has Advanced, According to David Mabuza, Anc President.

While he was in Alexandra on Thursday, he urged the populace to support the ANC again on election day on May 29.

As part of the Alexandra Renewal Project, President Cyril Ramaphosa pledged to construct a million homes in April 2019.

Over a seven-year period, an estimated R1.3 billion was allocated for renewal.

Since then, the government has denied any allegations of corruption despite criticism that no homes have been constructed.

The ANC has been under constant fire from the EFF and DA for not keeping this pledge.

But according to Mabuza, the process of building a house is time-consuming.

“We’re in the midst of building residences right now. We have constructed many homes, and since many people do not have a place to live, that is why I am claiming that we have accomplished a great deal. I understand that more work still needs to be done.

“Therefore, we are on a journey and we cannot abandon our people. I am aware of the difficulties the ANC has, and we will overcome those difficulties together. We will learn from our mistakes and go on, he declared. We will not let failure define who we are.
